Healing in Room 413

I have always believed that God sends us signs. It may be to encourage, confirm or give more direction about something that we are facing at the moment. Some may say that these signs are coincidences, luck or serendipity. Whatever you may call it, I truly believe that things happen for a reason.

Recently, my dad was admitted into the hospital. While in the emergency room, the doctor announced that he would be admitted and possibly staying in the hospital for a few days. Although, no one wants to see their love one in that hospital bed, I would not want anything more than to know that my daddy is receiving the best care for him right now. Once given the room assignment, I gathered his belongings and walked about a half of a mile to the "Main Hospital".

After getting off of the elevator, I turned to my left and immediately felt how familiar I was with this walk. As he was wheeled into the room, I took a deep breath and took a seat. Daddy was assigned to the same room that was once assigned to Mama. As I held back tears, the phrase that my best friend and I always use popped into my mind, "It's a sign".

Once I got home, I decided to search the number 413, but in a different form. So, I opened my Bible app and searched 4:13. At the top of my results read, I can do all things through Him that strengthens me.~ Philippians 4:13

I felt immediate comfort, peace and truly believe that all is well.
